The umps were rushing us out the other night so they could shut off the lights and I forgot my glove at the field. If anyone found a black rawlings please let me know.

Is the league going to do this again? I have not seen anything on the web site like in years past introducing sign ups and having a league.

We will be addressing the ball issue next year.

We have heard many complaints about the performance and will take this into account when selecting a ball for the 2011 season.

We decided to stay with Worth this year instead of moving to Trump. In hindsight, maybe it was not the right decision.

Our team left a bat at the field last Wednesday July 7th. It's a Demarini B-52 Bomber.

We also have a player who left his glove at the field a few weeks ago, it's a Mizuno slow pitch glove.

If anybody found one of these please let me know.

Ball for 2010
The RMSL will be using the Trump 40/325 ball. This ball complies with the new USSSA rules: 40 COR or less, 325 pound compression or less, optic yellow cover.

All-Star Sunday was a blast. It was great seeing almost 20 players in the homerun Derby.There were many shots that cleared the street.

Although I didn't compete in the Homerun Derby I did play in the All-Star game that followed and it was a great game. We had two full teams with a few of the palyers from the Homerun Derby involved. It was very interesting playing a game with players that you normally would not see. I am not sure but I believe that there were players from at least 4 of the 5 divisions. It is too bad that not all the teams were represented. Hopefully there will be more of a commitment from teams if the league does this again next season.

Been pretty quiet on the forum this year,

As we head to the All-Star break, any thoughts on the divisions so far?

Having moved down to D4 this year, I am very happy with the level competition. Melrose Glass has been showing they are the team to beat, but every night there are very competitive games. Should be an exciting second half to the season.

Hi real sorry if this is the wrong place for this post. Just some FYI about upcoming cash prize tournaments.

NSA MA is running two more cash money World Series Qualifiers, with the pool play into single elim, 3 game guarantee format.

This Saturday May 1st is open class, 12 teams/one day (Saturday) only. Using "C" book HR rule, 2 and 1up.

And Saturday May 8th is the same format in Leominster MA.

"League" or "rec" teams, be not afraid. The pool play games will be tough but you will break off into separate pools based on pool play results. You will play winnable games.

Deadline noon Thursday. Bracket out early Thursday afternoon.
